Karen Danna, RN
Karen earned her RN degree at Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans. She worked as a staff
nurse at West Jefferson Medical Center from 2000 until early in 2007. Karen became a bariatric patient having
lap band surgery by Dr. Treen in 2006. Karen lost over 100 pounds in the first 6 months following her surgery,
and joined our staff in February of 2007 as our second Bariatric Nurse Coordinator. Obviously, Karen’s personal
journey through bariatric surgery is a tremendous asset both to our patients and our entire staff.
